A very busy month

It’s been a very busy time of year for me. The craft markets have been coming thick and fast.

Here is my stall at the beginning of the month, I have considerably less stock now.

A very Merry Christmas to all the Yarnies out there who have been furiously making lovely gifts.

52 Yarns

Hi Yarnies!

I’ve been very inspired by some of my friends challenging themselves creatively by setting the ludicrous goal of producing 365 pieces of art; one every day for a year.

I would really like to set myself a goal like this but obviously making fine or crazy yarn is not something that can be done in a day.

SO welcome to my ’52 yarns challenge’. I will attempt to make a skein of yarn every week. I will be trying out some new techniques, colours and textures. I shall also name them and make them available for sale.

The last part of this is the challenge is the hardest, as I make yarn every day,  I need an incentive to wash, whack, name, label and then set them free into the world!
